It?s not always going to be 100% fool proof. The parks, lawns, and places you?ll go may have some fleas that bite your pet but you can minimize the chances by doing the following:

Provide your pet with a flea preventative prescription all year.

Treat your house, yard, and any other area in your home where fleas may hide and live.

Use all the medications and antibiotics prescribed by your vet to treat the allergic reactions.

Have your pet checked regularly by a vet.
